Child care
Schools need to provide a Safe Place for children and young people
to be from 8am to 6pm, 48 weeks of the year. If the school is not
providing this themselves, they will sign post to where this is
happening at various locations throughout Watford. This service
may attract a fee.

Specialist Support for Children and Young People
Some children and young people will need additional help at school
with their behaviour, health or learning. Each school has a system
in place to identify and assist those children. If your child needs
additional support or referral please see your school.

Support for Parents
Schools and Children’s Centres run courses and workshops
for parents with ideas and strategies on parenting. They also run
courses for parents on numeracy and literacy that can lead to a
qualification.

Community Access
The community can access school facilities through adult learning
programmes and community groups. Are you looking for a venue for
