What is an Extended School ?
In the Broxbourne and Hoddesdon Extended Schools Consortium we aim to provide activites and services that will meet the objectives of the five core elements of the Extended Schools initative.
Childcare
As a group of consortium Schools, we need to provide a 'Safe Place' for children and young people to be from 8am to 6pm, 5 days a week, 48 weeks of the year. If one school is not providing this themselves, they could sign post to where this is happening at different locations and different providers within the Broxbourne and Hoddesdon areas.
Childcare will most probably come with a charge to parents per session.
