We would like to welcome you to the HEROES website.
HEROES is a group of schools who have formed a consortium in the East of Hemel Hempstead. There are 10 schools in this consortium which are: Lime Walk, Belswains, The Reddings, Chambersbury, Hobbs Hill Wood, St Albert the Great, Tudor, Leverstock Green, Woodfield and Longdean.
The team is made up of Hilla Joshi (Extended Schools Manager) , Jules Nudd and Roger Sharpe (Family Support Workers ), Jackie Green (Parent Support Advisor) and Jan Nethercoat HEROES Administrator.
What does Extended Schools mean to you?
- Childcare Provision - We support developing accessible and sustainable childcare like the Kool Kats After School Club at Hobbs Hill Wood
- Varied Menu of Activities - offers young people learning opportunities outside of the class room like karate, swimming, drama, football, youth clubs and holiday sports camps. Heroes offers information about local activities, organisations and providers. We also develop services like the Go For It Youth Club during the half term and summer holidays.
- Family Support - There is no right or wrong way to parent and no set of instructions. Our team of Family Support Workers and Parent Support Advisors, provide a free, confidential and non- judgemental service. Our team also supports you through the CAF process.
- Family Learning - We provide Family Fun events
- Adult learning - We work in partnership to deliver courses to adults
