Extended Schools offer a whole range of information and support for parents:

• Information sessions for parents and carers
  We would like to make your child’s transition from reception to primary and then to secondary, as smooth as possible. Your school may provide information sessions for parents and carers where you can ask questions and gain the important information you need.

• Access to information
  Please contact Nicola for information about national and local organisations which offer advice and support. This will enable you to access the information you need if it’s not available directly through your school.

• Parenting advice
  Parenting programmes may be available to strengthen parenting skills and promote positive discipline and communication. Please refer to Latest News on our home page for details of current opportunities. We also run coffee mornings to provide an opportunity for you to talk to other parents.

• Family & Adult Learning
  We regulary run Family Learning events during the school holidays and also in term time. These can range from fun activities such as Art Attacks, Easter Treats and Funky Food aswell as more informative courses on Internet Saftey, ICT, Numeracy & Literacy. All events will be sent home via your school as well as being displayed in our yellow boards.
