Parental Drug Awareness Service (PDAS) -PDAS is an information and support service for those who are concerned about a family member or friend's drug, alcohol or solvent abuse. If you need to talk to someone who understands and cares please telephone our HELPLINE 01707 393934

Adolescent Drug & Alcohol Service (A-DASH) -We work with anyone un der 18 years old in Hertfordshire who has issues/problems with their own drug/alcohol use. We are open weekdays from 9am - 4.30pm. Hertfordhire Additional Needs Database -if you are a parent or carer of a child or young person with additional needs you can register on HAND. Have a look at www.hertsdirect.org/hand for details of the benefits of registration.

You can register online at www.hertsdirect.org/hand . Alternatively you can contact the Parent Partnership Team to request a membership form by caliing Claudia Houghton or Vicky Warby on 01992 556984. Once you have completed and returned your form a HAND membership card will be sent to you.

Autism Alert Card -launched by Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire Police in April 2009. The card gives advice on how to help people who carry them. The cards cost £2.50 and can be obtained from the National Autistic Society www.autism.org.uk or by calling 0845 070 4004
