If your child has been excluded, either for a fixed-term or it's a permanent exclusion, you might need some help to understand what's happening. Below are some sites that could help.
Mediation Hertfordshire - schools project
Mediation Hertfordshire and Parentline Plus have jointly set up and run a mediation service for parents and schools. This pilot project will be evaluated at the end of the school year 2009, with a view to rolling it out across the whole County. The service can be contacted via:

ACE - Advisory Centre for Education
The Advisory Centre for Education (ACE) is a national charity that provides advice and information to parents and carers on a wide range of school based issues including exclusion, admissions, special education needs, bullying and attendance.
