NEW Welwyn Playground Support Group (WPSG) (9KB)
We are a volunteer group who are aiming to improve the quality of life for children in the local community by seeking funding to re-furbish and renew the two public playgrounds in Welwyn village. We are holding a consultation event on Saturday 13th March from 2pm-4pm at the Whitehills Centre at the top of Ottaway walk in Welwyn village. For more information about WPSG, please click here.

With support from Welwyn Hatfield District Children’s Trust Partnership, WHEM Group in partnership with the Zimbabwe Community Group Hertfordshire and Kingdom Light Centre (Church) will be running free African Drumming and Dance sessions for children/young people who live or school in and around Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City. NEW Stevenage StopGap Open Day (60KB)
StopGap provides a specialist service for young people aged between 16-24 years with Aspergers Syndrome, Social Communication Difficulties and/or Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. Our learners may also have additional needs such as acute to mild mental health problems. The Open Day will be an opportunity to look around the base, speak to staff and students about the course and arrange for a possible future interview and taster session.

Learn how to play rugby the Southern Hemisphere way with Rucksnmauls. Coming to Welwyn Rugby Club this summer! Through a combination of the latest coaching methods and techniques developed in the southern hemisphere, players are able to develop their knowledge, ability and overall enjoyment of the game, as well as getting a good work out at the same time!

Real Tennis Coaching Sessions (14KB)
For children aged 7+. Never heard of Real Tennis? Never played Real Tennis? Now is your chance to give it a try at the Real Tennis historic court at Hatfield House, built in 1842. Real Tennis is the oldest racket sport and is played, like lawn tennis, over a net, but it is set in an unconventional indoor court.
